1) My expectations for this class are that it will help me understand more about our world, and not just what the news munipulates and brainwashes us with. Also, i hope to expand my knowledge about the world and how the cultures and physical characteristics mix together.

2)I believe I know about an average amount about geography. The ability to understand maps, discribe the influences of culture on the sculpting of the land. I think, knowing the world and seeing it as a wonderful place that needs to be fully viewed and understood is one of the most important things about geography.

2)I know about maps, regions, and locations, but I know little about cultures and how they interact with others.

My expectations for this class
Are to learn about different Countries, Cultures, traditions tat we would never think of. I would also like to learn how they compare to America and the way we live.
I know the basics like the continents and countries and about America and our traditions but from having French class for four years I know some of the French holidays like Mardi Gras and some of there landmarks like the Louvre. Other than that I can't remember much more.

I think that people have a greater impact on the earth because we are causing the earth to change with all the polution that we are putting into the atmosphere. If all people do their part we can reverse the damage and bring the earth back into balance.
